elōs® Technology
elōs® technology combines optical energy with radiofrequency energy.
The optical energy—laser or intense pulsed light depending on the applicator—targets the desired tissue and pre-heats the treatment area. Bipolar RF energy then preferentially travels through the pre-heated tissue, providing an additional thermal effect.
The system also incorporates chilled applicator tips to help protect the epidermis and improve patient comfort during treatment.
